Anybus Mercury MKII tablet
The Anybus Mercury MKII is a rugged industrial Windows tablet that uses the Osiris diagnostic software to simplify Industrial Ethernet and PROFIBUS troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring. The mobile tool helps you quickly identify and resolve potential faults to keep your network healthy and efficient.
Mobile Industrial Ethernet Diagnostics
When connected to an Industrial Ethernet network, (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus and EtherCat), the Anybus Mercury generates a clear topology displaying all devices and their connections. The topology is available in different views, such as galaxy view, hierarchic tree view, or customizable view. Device and alarm lists can be exported as CSV files to aid documentation and further analysis.
In addition, the Quality Factor (Q-Factor) feature enables users to quickly view the network’s quality using a weighted algorithm, shown as a traffic light display.
Mobile PROFIBUS Diagnostics
For PROFIBUS networks, the Anybus Mercury uses the same software as the ProfiTrace toolkits, allowing you to quickly analyze the network and identify typical failures such as voltage drops, wire breaks, and configuration faults. The built-in oscilloscope detects noise, reflections, and termination problems, while a live list continuously shows all the available devices. Additionally, a network condition indicator clearly shows the health of the installation.

Ethernet Test Access Point
Anybus EtherTAP
Anybus Diagnostics is taking diagnostics to the next level. The new EtherTAP monitoring interface is the bridge to the Osiris functionality on our portable Mercury tablet and permanent Atlas module. Both devices run on diagnostics platform Osiris to analyse the information feed from the EtherTAP. This enables our built-in assistant Delphi to come up with a solution to help you to quickly and effectively get your operations running again

Anybus EtherTAP2
The EtherTAP2 is exactly the same as the EtherTAP except that the 2 version is designed to be mounted permanently on your network beside Atlas 2.
EtherTAP2 is a monitoring interface that enables the in-depth analysis of PROFINET and EtherNet/IP traffic. Just like its highly popular predecessor, it acts as a bridge between your industrial network and our Osiris diagnostics platform. However, its newly designed housing and improved functionality guarantee the early detection of communication errors and give round-the-clock access to passive diagnostics.
EtherTAP2 may have the same features as the original EtherTAP, but the redesign has resulted in a more powerful CPU, enhancing its overall diagnostic performance. It delivers five types of passive data:

- Positive and negative message jitter
- Number of dropped packets

Helmholz TAP IE 100
The TAP IE 100 enables recording of Ethernet communications at 10 or 100 Mbps without retroactive effect.
The Ethernet transmission via the Line RJ45 sockets is sent out on the two monitor sockets as a “copy”. With a PC or other diagnostic device the Ethernet telegrams can be logged and analyzed, e.g. with “Wireshark”. The practical flat design with the intelligent arrangement of the network connections saves space in the control cabinet.

Combricks permanent monitoring system with built-in ProfiTrace
ComBricks is a multiport repeater with built-in ProfiTrace. As such it is a permanent monitoring system for PROFIBUS. This is a Maintenance person’s dream come true for troubleshooting PROFIBUS. The big advantage that the COMBRICK has is that it has a history of what has happened to your network.
It offers the perfect solution for diagnosing and designing networks in an area where there is a shortage of qualified technical staff and a huge amount of pressure on system availability. ComBricks allows technicians to remotely monitor PROFIBUS installations from anywhere in the world and will alert them by email if any faults arise. Therefore, faults can efficiently and quickly be solved. This reduces downtime and optimizes the entire life cycle of the installation.

Thorsis permanent network monitors
The isNet Lite is an Ethernet gateway in a compact modular housing. It can be used for multiple purposes of remote monitoring and control. Depending on the application the isNet Lite is always used together with one or more fieldbus modules, where the isNet Lite is always the head module. Up to five different fieldbus modules can be connected, the modules can be freely combined. The modules are intended for use in industrial environments, they are mounted on a DIN rail, fans were deliberately omitted.

isNet DPMon
With the isNet DPMon module any gateway built with the isNet Lite can be extended to operate as a PROFIBUS DP diagnosis and protocol monitor. The module helps to detect and investigate sporadic problems in the data transmission on a PROFIBUS line. Communication problems can be so easily captured and eliminated.
The features of the isNet DPMon module include a protocol monitor, an evaluation of statistical data on the PROFIBUS, such as error counters or average time intervals, and for investigation of the physical signal quality, the integrated oscilloscope is quite useful. Even when no PC is connected to the isNet Lite, the module can still record protocol telegrams due to its long-term recording capability, the captured telegrams are stored on an SD card.

isNet PNMon
With the isNet PNMon the Ethernet module isNet Lite can be expanded to operate as a diagnosis and protocol monitor for field-Ethernet systems. This module allows to detect and investigate sporadic problems in the data transmission of Industrial Ethernet fieldbusses.
The Ethernet Monitor module has two RJ45 sockets, through which the Ethernet is passed through the module. The device works as TAP, ie. the signals are extracted passively from the two connected lines. Protocol errors are detected and displayed according to the layers of the OSI model.
The functionality of the isNet PNMon module includes a protocol monitor to record Ethernet telegram frames and an extensive evaluation of statistical data on the Ethernet e.g. Error counters. The long-time recording allows autonomous operation for an extended period, even if no PC is connected to the isNet Lite. The log file is saved directly on an MMC memory card and can be downloaded later to a PC.

isNet PAMon
With the isNet PAMon module, any gateway built with the isNet Lite can be extended to operate as a PROFIBUS PA diagnosis and protocol monitor. The module helps to detect and investigate sporadic problems in the data transmission on a PROFIBUS line. Communication problems can be so easily captured and eliminated.
The features of the isNet PAMon module include a protocol monitor, an evaluation of statistical data on the PROFIBUS, such as Error counters or average time intervals, and for investigation of the physical signal quality, the integrated oscilloscopes for every PA channel are quite useful. Hi-Port HP-25 PROFIBUS cable tester
This small easy to use handheld device checks for the most frequently found cable connection faults seen on PROFIBUS DP.
The software checks for:
- Open lines
- Short circuits
- Crossed connectors
- Reports on the number of terminators
This device works with DB-9 connectors and with adapters can also work with M-12 connectors. Please note that it can only work on a cable network that is not plugged into anything. In other words, the network must be down to do this test.
It is a perfect tool for commissioning. It is also very useful for troubleshooting a network that is down.
