PROFIBUS repeaters
ProfiHub B2+, 3 Segment redundant PROFIBUS DP Repeater
The ProfiHub B2+ enables wide-ranging RS 485 star/tree/bus segments and long spur lines for PROFIBUS DP installations in IP 20 environments. It is a straightforward and robust network component made to design flexible and object oriented networks. When redundancy is enabled, the ProfiHub B2+ is transformed to an extremely reliable and cost-saving redundant repeater solution.

PROFIBUS DP repeater B1
The advanced 12 Mbps core of the B1 is comparable to the ProfiHub, it can be cascaded without limitations and has increased RS 485 strength. Furthermore, every channel has on-board switchable termination and is able to drive 31 devices. The removable screw terminals of the PROFIBUS interface are pinned-out in a way that reversed mounting of the repeater does not impact existing wiring. A DB9 connector is provided to connect diagnostic tools. The redundant power supply increases reliability of the application.

FLEXtra twin repeater
Despite its small size, the FLEXtra® twinRepeater is a full PROFIBUS repeater designed for mounting on a DIN rail.
It regenerates the incoming electrical signal on a bus line and retransmits it (bit reshaping and retransmission).
The signals are restored in level, slope, and duty cycle.
The FLEXtra® twinRepeater supports data rates of 9.6 kbps to 12 Mbps and recognizes them automatically.

FLEXtra multiRepeater 4-way
The FLEXtra® multiRepeater is a multi-PROFIBUS repeater designed for mounting on a DIN rail. It regenerates the incoming electrical signal on a bus line and retransmits it (bit reshaping and retransmission).
The signals are restored in level, slope, and duty cycle.
The multiRepeater supports data rates of 9.6 kbps to 12 Mbps and recognizes them automatically.

ProfiHub B5+
Due to the demands for high-speed networks, PROFIBUS DP must comply with strict guidelines concerning spur lines. The ProfiHub B5+ is the perfect cost-efficient solution to bridge user’s requirements and create reliable star networks. It is an essential component to obtain better control during maintenance and upgrading of the network. Note: B5+ replaces the standard PROCENTEC B5 unit, providing additional functionality with no physical design changes.

Helmholz compact repeater
The PROFIBUS compact repeater is a great alternative to conventional repeaters for a large number of applications, both technically and in terms of price. It can be used for bus extension (up to 1 km with 2 PROFIBUS compact repeaters), to increase the number of participants, and to expand the system. Use in MPI networks is also possible. As a special application option, the PROFIBUS compact repeater allows the setup of stubs as separate segments. For this it can be plugged directly into the PG connection of an existing PROFIBUS connector.

PROFIBUS terminators
Anybus T1 Terminator
The T1 Terminator provides active termination for PROFIBUS segments which are based on RS 485. This component enables you to switch off or remove the last devices on a segment without disturbing the bus communication. This way you reduce the risk of faults and thus potential downtime. The redundant power supply of the T1 increases reliability even more. The on-board DB9 connector can be used as hookup point for diagnostic tools.

Helmholz FLEXtra profiPoint
It can be used in conjunction with a PROFIBUS connector as the active measurement point or as an active terminator. Power is supplied independent of the bus through a socket.
Through the use of an active terminating resistor, participants of the bus system can optionally be switched on and off without causing malfunctions.
An integrated LED allows the correct function of the profiPoint to be read. For connection to the PROFIBUS cable, a PROFIBUS connector is required.
The FLEXtra® profiPoint is also available in a set with a PROFIBUS connector.
